This course focuses on how to improve your coaching techniques to achieve high performance and productivity from your employees. Coaching relates directly to how well you are able to foster a great working relationship with your employees through understanding them and strategic goal setting.
An easy-to-understand coaching model taught in this course will guide you through the coaching process. Prepare yourself to change a few things about yourself in order to coach your employees to better performance.

For organisations wanting to train team members we offer a group enrolment for self-paced online training or 1 – 2 day workshop as onsite-group or Virtual Instructor-Led Training.

- International Certification
- We are accredited with the IACET. On successful completion, learners receive a formal certificate confirming all details of their achievement.
Key Outcomes:
• Define coaching, mentoring and the GROW model.
• List appropriate goals using the SMART technique of goal setting.
• Identify the steps necessary in defining the current state or reality of your employee’s situation.
• Identify the steps needed in defining options for your employee and turn them into a preliminary plan.
• Identify the steps in developing a finalised plan or wrapping it up and getting your employee motivated to accomplish those plans.
• Identify the benefits of building and fostering trust with your employee.
• Apply the steps in giving effective feedback while maintaining trust.
• Identify and overcome common obstacles to the growth and development of your employee.
• Recognise when the coaching is at an end and transitioning your employee to other growth opportunities.
• Recognise the difference between mentoring and coaching, using both to enable long-term development through a positive relationship with your employee.
Technical Requirements (Computer or Mobile phone)
- A computer with Microsoft Windows operating system (98, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, or Windows 8) or Mac OS X (10.14 Leopard or higher)
- A computer with Microsoft Office 2000 or higher
- A high speed internet connection and a web browser (Firefox or chrome are highly recommended as there are incompatibility issues with Internet Explorer)
- Adobe Reader (free software)
About Coaching and Mentoring Exam & Certification

Basic Certification (Level 2):
Complete all course content and pass each phase of the online exam with a minimum of 80%. |
About the exam
- You are required to pass an online multiple-choice exam. The exam compromises of 1 exam.
- The exam is a timed, open-book exam.
