The Leadership Centre is Training Leadership Consulting’s (TLC’s) Online learning portal. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, we understood that the learning environment was changing rapidly, and that a classroom was no longer a requirement for professional growth. Our eLearning portal was designed for individuals and teams looking to extend their professional education as blended learning (classroom and online) or as a pure eLearning approach without the limitations of classroom-based training.
Our online courses have a strong emphasis on Business Improvement skills and capability development, most notably our comprehensive suite of Lean and Six Sigma programmes which distil decades of real-world experience for the benefit of all learners. These are complemented by a carefully-selected range of short business skills courses and related programmes. Corporates and individuals alike can choose single courses or opt to combine with other programmes to meet skills development needs.

Finally, we have a long history in partnership with a unique NPO, Singakwenza, which focuses on early childhood education in disadvantaged communities.
Our purpose is to develop pro-active, problem-solving leaders who will lead our organisations to succeed. But we know that educating future leaders starts well before they reach the working world. As such we support a specialist NPO in Early Childhood Education, Singakwenza, meaning “We can do it!”. This special non-profit organisation aims to build sustainable early childhood education programmes in economically disadvantaged communities, using readily-available recycling materials to create toys and teaching tools.
They focus on the critical development years in a child’s life (between 1 and 5 years). Research around the world has shown that the best way to break the poverty cycle is through education. Singakwenza offers a mentorship programme to crèche caregivers in their own creches for one day a week, every week for a minimum of 2 years. They teach how to educate children using toys and resources made from recycling and share the significance of each activity in early childhood development, so that these children enter school intellectually, physically and developmentally prepared.
Singakwenza is registered as a Non Profit Company and a Public Benefit Organisation with >75% Black Beneficiaries, for companies needing SED and ED points for their B-BBEE scorecards. They are also an Empowering Supplier with a Level 1 B-BBEE rating. Find out more: www.singakwenza.co.za
