TLC’s eLEARNING PORTAL GETS AN UPGRADE!
TLC’s eLearning Portal, the Leadership Centre, recently underwent a significant upgrade to the software application platform that hosts all our Lean Six Sigma programmes and other management eLearning courses. We know how much our learners appreciate the interactive learning material and the ability to learn at their own pace, and we wanted to make sure their user experience was further enhanced with some of the latest functionality and other features.
The upgrade was made seamless by the tireless efforts of TLC’s IT guru, Prineshan Amichand, who shared his views on what the new LMS can do for your learning experience.
“Every new version brings updates to strengthen and secure the LMS, over and above the launching of new features. One of the key features is Security. We have new security measures in place, that will protect the data of our users from the increasing threats of Ransomware.” But he adds, that’s not all – the most exciting part is that the upgrade also improves overall User Experience. “The upgrade now includes a modern, easy-to-use interface. Designed to be responsive and accessible, the interface is easy to navigate on both desktop and mobile devices. A personalized dashboard that displays current, past and future courses, along with tasks due has been added for every user.” Of course, an engaging ‘look-and-feel’ is only one part of what goes into a great experience for our users. As Prineshan says, “The new version also optimizes and improves the backend speed, contributing further to a better user experience on the LMS.”
And that’s not the end of the story! “The upgrade gives us the capability to add other new features throughout the year,” adds Prineshan, “so watch this space!”
